These duties include the adoption of sustainable practices like recycling, thrifting and reducing plastic usage, shifting to a plant-based lifestyle to reduce carbon footprint and water consumption, using clean and renewable energy sources, etc. Reducing overconsumption is a first step towards fulfilling our responsibility to help fight the climate crisis.

On a collective level, launching campaigns to support environment-friendly practices, holding seminars and awareness programs, outreach, and more can make a huge impact on society as a whole. Volunteering with climate NGOs and forming local or regional teams for these activities will help to strengthen them. Moreover, social media platforms can be a great medium for climate activism to reach a wide audience who might make a difference.

Above all, effective policy legislation and execution are necessary for environment conservation and managing the climate crisis. So as citizens and inhabitants of the planet, we have a responsibility to spread awareness, vote in favor of those likely to initiate environment-friendly policies, and organize protests or boycotts against moves that might aggravate the climate crisis.

Climate change is a global issue that requires global response and action. By making conscious choices in our daily lives, engaging in community initiatives, and advocating for government action, citizens can take a step towards sustainability and ensure a safer, greener planet for future generations.

Most of us are aware that climate crisis is one of the most pressing issues of our time and that climate change is aggravated by human intervention and unsustainable practices. And as the inhabitants of the planet, each individual has a responsibility to try their best to mitigate the climate disaster.

Civic responsibility refers to the duties and obligations that the society has towards the betterment of the society on a holistic level. Since environmental destruction and climate crisis wreak havoc in the lives of millions all over the globe, it is the responsibility of civil society as well as governments to act accordingly.
